This bench is borderline pro gym quality. The only reason why I won't give it 5 stars is that padding could have been a little bit better. Overall though, for the money (with free shipping) it's a great bench.

Find a bench you're comfortable using and measure it! I didn't, and I paid the price. I'm a fairly short guy (5'4"), and this is too tall for my needs. I had to put a riser on the end so I'm not bending backwards lying down. This does not reflect poorly on the bench; this is purely for the potential buyer.
Another unfortunate reviewer had his bench packed poorly. Luckily for me, mine was packed well with plenty of plastic wrapping and enclosed parts in a well-sealed box. No worries for me.
Complaints of poor padding are well-founded. Don't expect any plush cushioning here.
Appearance is nice and sleek, protruding bolts notwithstanding.
Overall a decent bench, not a couch.

This product had potential to be very good,especially for its low price and free shipping.Unfortunately, the product came in a large cardboard box and everything inside was loosely packaged.The frame had a few scratches,the nuts,washer and bolts,were all loose in the box. So,of course,It was missing nuts and washers. So,
I was unable to completely put it together securely. The frame is steel and sturdy, but the seat is hard as a rock and made very cheaply. It also was scunched in certain areas,from being crushed in the box, from poor handling in shipping.
