Does what it should. Only complaint is that I accidentaly 'crimped' the back pad above the point where the white metal ends. Now it sags a bit.

I thought I would hate this bench because adjustable sounds unsafe in my mind, but it is rock solid. I can say for certain that it will hold me with 200 lbs on 45 degree incline. I'm sure it holds more, but that's all I can speak too. If you get it make sure you get the leg developer attachment with it. It works pretty good too.

I recently purchased this bench and am very happy with it. It's really solid, and the padded surfaces are sturdy yet very comfortable. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the adjustability of the seat is limited (there are only two settings for raising the seat level - the first of which is barely above flat). However, for the cost, it's a superb bench and a great addition to my home fitness room (I ordered direct from Deltech and the total cost was $149.99 including tax and shipping). It's certainly possible to assemble it alone (I did), but it would help to have a second person. NOTE: you will need a metric socket wrench set with both 13mm and 16mm attachments, and also an adjustable flat wrench in order to complete assembly. But these are common elements in most home toolboxes. I'm so happy with the bench I'm planning on ordering the preacher curl attachment.
One additional note about Deltech - the product arrived via FEDEX ground on the estimated delivery date, but the main body frame (the largest part) was damaged. One corner of the square metal sleeve through which you need to slide the adjustable bar that raises and lowers the back was bent in, so the bar could not slide through it properly. I was dead in the water. So I emailed Deltech and included a couple camera-phone pics of the damaged part. They responded within a couple of hours and volunteered to send me a replacement bodyframe free of charge. It shipped out immediately. Four days later FEDEX Ground delivered the new frame and I was able to assemble the bench with no problem. That's quality customer service. No hassle, no requirement to pack and return the damaged part (which would have been a huge hassle!). Deltech clearly is a company that stands behind its products.
Final bit of advice: the instructions that accompanied the product were a little hard to follow. So if you go to Deltech's site ([...]), you can download a .pdf of the product manual which gives you much more detailed assembly instructions that are much easier to follow.

This bench is one hell of a deal considering the price. I bought it to use with my Sumo rack. As an engineer, I give the designer of this bench an A+ for ergonomics, stability, durability and ease of assembly.
As a bodybuilder, I also give the bench an A+ for the simple fact that it is as sturdy and as comfortably padded as a commercial gym equipment. The overall height is perfect for doing any types of presses.
It took me 10 minutes to assemble. The only minor "issue" was the assembly instruction. The diagram did not show installation of washers, although the bench comes with all hardware - nuts, bolts and washers. So, make sure you use the correct-hole washer for each bolt. Otherwise, if you literally follow the instructions, you will wonder at the end what in the name of Zeus Butthole those "extra" washers are for. Common sense. That's all I'm saying. (I'm not knocking the guys in China who wrote the assembly instructions. Heck, we have Americans who can't properly read or write the Queen's language. But I digress.)
Yes, it has no decline. But I would rather have a solid incline-flat bench that I can rely on, rather than workout on a cheesy, and risky, "swiss knife" type bench with all the bells and whistles. You would be remiss not to include this bench in your home gym. I know I can do heavy bench and other exercises on this bench without the fear of it falling apart.
Kudos to Deltech for a product that is both commercial-quality and cost-effective.

I can't blame this product for my trouble assembling it. It is a heavy duty product and I was not strong enough to hold it by myself and put it together and I didn't have a socket set, then went and bought the wrong kind.
A friend assembled it for me after it had sat 4 weeks in my living room floor waiting for me to put it together.
Now that it is together, I am impressed with how sturdy it is. It is fully worth what I paid for it.
