Trion Fitness Folding Flat Bench by HOIST

This would get an A+ except for the fact is lacks stability - when you lay down it rocks side to side. A couple of right angle brackets could fix this - which I plan to add. Currently I've learned to balance better. This is a design oversight. Otherwise it's well built and very handy.

Without a doubt, best bench on the market for the money. Meets all of my needs and will do the same for 95% of body builders or those interested in personal fitness. I have been in the gym for over 40 years. This is the perfect bench for when you want to train at home.

I got this bench for dumbbell training to take with me on car trips. I'm at a solid three hundred pounds and use sixty pounds of weight, and this bench is very solid. However, it's somewhat unstable side-to-side, but that just works my legs better. I haven't had any serious issues otherwise. They would have to provide wider feet on this to fix it and that might negate the portability of the unit. I would recommend this unit with the understanding that there might be a bit of teetering when using it. Overall, it's a very good product.

At first I was going to buy a different bench, but I bought this one because it was the widest one that I could find. It's perfect. I weigh a little over 200 lbs and this bench is absolutely solid and completely supports my weight and is balanced. It's also pretty compact and it folds. The only two problems that I can see with this bench are that it doesn't incline, which I was willing to sacrifice for the price and size. The other thing is that I had a little trouble getting it to fold entirely. I've had to force the bolts to close completely a few times, but it's still solid.

This weight bench is a great choice for people who have a limited amount of space. It folds up compactly for storing under the bed or in a closet. It has a small "footprint" when set up, and feels stable to work out on. Someone over six feet tall may find that the bench is too low to the floor for their comfort. It's perfect for the
type of person who is exercising to maintain their health, not to win contests!
