Is It Ok To Do Bicep Curls With One Dumbbell, Switching Arms After Finishing Your Set?

I currently do 12 reps on one arm without stopping and then doing the same on the other arm using just one dumbbell. Is that fine or is it better to have two dumbbells and alternate sides after each rep?

That's fine but it's normally done for weak points. I suggest doing them both together or a barbell.

No, it's fine. Do the same number of reps with each arm at the same weight and your result will be the same as if you had 2 dumbbells.
