Is It Good To Do One Arm Dumbbell Press If I Have Only One Dumbbell?


i have only 1 dumbbell and i'm getting bored with push up exercise , so can i do one arm dumbbell press? can i lie on my flooor too becoz i dun have any bench and the most important is that does it has some disadvantage like one chest is bigger than others , LOL.

I have this friend at the gym and he says that the dumbbell incline press fills up your chest and the barbell incline press widens your chest. I'd just like to know why some people use dumbbells instead of the barbell.

What Kind Of Weight Lifting Simulates A Bench Press That I Can Do Without A Spotter?


I like to go to the gym alone. I am trying to develop my upper body. I am an extreme novice and know nothing about weight lifting. I would like to do an exercise that develops the chest. But I don't like to work out with anyone else because the weight lifters scare me. I don't need someone pushing me to do something that will hurt myself. And I don't want to be humiliated because I have trouble lifting the bar without the weights.

Do The Dumbbell Bench Press And The Regular Bench Press Use The Same Weight Conversions?


I can dumbbell bench press 75lbs (one for each hand, so 150lbs altogether), I was just wondering what that converts to on the regular bench press with the standard olympic bar. I'm a bit confused since the former exercise utilizes each pectoral and the latter exercise uses them simultaneously.

What Is The Difference In Hand Position When Doing Flat Dumbbell Chest Press Or Dumbbell Shoulder Press?


Does it work different muscles more when you have your palms facing forward vs facing each other when doing flat dumbbell chest press or dumbbell shoulder press? Or is it pretty much work all the muscles the same just easier on the wrists for some people?
