I don't want to bulk up heavily. Just get ripped and add some beef around my upper arm (triceps/biceps).
My height is 5'7. Is 24 lbs (12kg) per dumbbell too heavy?

For example,
If your left hand was doing the lifting:
The right hand would be grabbing the top right of the bench, the right knee would be on the bottom right corner of the bench, your left leg would be to the straight, to the side, and you would grab the dumbbell and lift it up with your left hand.
What is this exercise called and what does it work?

All I have is a dumbbell, but I'm looking for the fastest way to build size (strength can come later) with what I have available to me.

I was looking online for some running shoes and came across weight lifting shoes and wanted to know what the difference was between the two. I run and weight and know that running shoes can better your performance by a ton when you run long distances but do weight lifting shoes do the same when lifting? If so how? Thanks to all who answered.

I have this friend at the gym and he says that the dumbbell incline press fills up your chest and the barbell incline press widens your chest. I'd just like to know why some people use dumbbells instead of the barbell.
