This is a great product by body solid for block heads who need an item that will not scuff your floor if your a body builder. I have almost 500lbs no gain no pain.

The plasticizer exuding from the "rubber" grip covering the made-in-China plates literally stinks. I've had them baking in the sun in the back yard for a month and they still smell just like the "rubber" grip cover on a made-in-Chine LED flashlight I bought from Amazon last year. I finally had to cut the cover off the flashlight and I'll probably have to do the same for these.
It's too bad, for both, because otherwise they both work fine and are priced right.
